Keeping a COASTAL STONE floor clean and its appearance like new is easier than you’d imagine, and repairing the rare occurrence of damage is just as simple.
There are two important elements to keeping your COASTAL STONE beautiful and new.
1) CLEANING
Most regular cleaning and maintenance can be accomplished by the homeowner with little time, effort, or cost, and while using ordinary floor cleaning equipment.
Use a vacuum for everyday cleaning of loose dust and debris. For heavy duty cleaning of spills and stuck-on grime, use any all-purpose household spray cleaner with a rag, sponge, or mop.
And yes, both a steam vacuum and shop vac can be used on your flooring.
2) TOPCOAT
To retain and/or restore the original beauty and shine to your COASTAL STONE, a specially formulated, patent-pending protective top coat may need to be applied periodically.
The need basis for topcoating is dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, UV exposure, environmental conditions, and wear and tear.
We recommend a topcoat treatment once every five years. (Areas with more sun exposure may need topcoating more frequently.)
